Getting started in Information Security, Internet Security and Networking Feedback

I have worked in information security for many years now, and started when there were fewer paths getting started.

This workshop is for everyone that wants to work within the field of information security, cyber security, pentesting, network security, firewalls, hacking and lots of other areas like cyber stalking, privacy etc. While I am not an expert in all those fields, I like to think I have a good overview of them, and can point you in the right direction for resources, people to follow, books, conferences etc.

I would like to host an informal workshop where people can discuss experiences getting started, and help people that want to expand into this area. Bring your favorite beverage and we will meet up in the NWWC tent on party field. You can join late, and leave as you wish. I will be there for the duration and consider it an open invitation, you can talk to me about these subjects anytime during BH.

BTW I did a talk on BornHack 2022 a few years back, Getting started in Network and Security, you can find the video in the archives and the presentation at: https://codeberg.org/kramse/security-courses/src/branch/master/presentations/misc/getting-started-in-infosec
